Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in the Markets Business Solutions and Enablement function of Corporate & Investment Banking. This is a hybrid role with some in office expectation. The individual is expected to independently manage and execute end-to-end delivery of their deliverables, work with technology and business stakeholders and run respective workstreams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organize and direct all aspects of delivery for complex change initiatives
  • Conduct requirement gathering and business analysis activities across multiple asset classes
  • Develop, implement and oversee governance routines for project execution
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain resources and ensure alignment with strategy
  • Ensure change management and user experience is a focus of every project
  • Identify potential risks when implementing change and develop mitigation strategies
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas
  • Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of projects
  • Work with impacted areas to understand complex problems and develop solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
  • 5+ years Capital Markets experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of institutional broker/dealer trading practices across products including foreign exchange, fixed income, equities, and derivatives
  • Experience working across capital markets businesses, market dynamics, and issues impacting complex business activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to think strategically, be a self-starter, challenge the status quo
  • Demonstrated understanding of change management, process improvement, product development and project delivery methodologies including SDLC and Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex IT environments: cross-functional areas, large number of interfaces and data sources
  • Strong data management, financial management, quality management and organization skills
