Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Commercial Banking Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Business Enablement team. This team drives alignment, effectiveness, and performance measurements across strategic initiatives to deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes. This role will support the Loan Accounting and Servicing portfolio team, partnering with Product, Line of Business, Operations, and Technology to deliver strategic initiatives related to commercial loan accounting. These include platform modernization, process improvements, regulatory reporting, and new product capabilities. We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about leading transformational change. Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Enablement team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Product Delivery that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Product, Program and Project Management and an understanding of the commercial lending business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to the direct team, senior leadership and stakeholders in the delivery of innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale, cross organizational in nature and align to Enterprise and Commercial Banking strategic objectives
  • Lead team meetings, product cabinets or steering committees to drive transparency and visibility on the performance of initiatives and facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans

Requirements:

5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have:

  • 10+ years in financial services, with expertise in: Commercial Lending, Regulatory reporting, Data & analytics, Product management
  • Business process management, Lending technology
  • Demonstrated achievements with implementations across commercial lending products and loan platforms (AFS, Loan IQ, McCracken, Asset Based Lending, Supply Chain Finance, Inventory Finance, Global Receivables and Trade, etc.)
  • Demonstrated achievements in implementing portfolio conversions, mergers & acquisitions, platform upgrades and/or implementing new commercial lending platforms
  • Proven experience with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong background in product strategy, OKRs, and roadmap development
  • Ability to manage multiple high-risk, high-priority initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong Executive-level presence and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong team collaboration and adaptability in matrixed environments
  • Experience with machine learning or AI is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
