Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in the Markets Business Solutions and Enablement function of Corporate & Investment Banking. This is a hybrid role with some in office expectation. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and directing all aspects of delivery for a set of complex change initiatives (plan, design, and execute). Change initiatives include, but not limited to: Current state analysis and target state solution design, system implementation/upgrade, vendor assessment/selection, new product design, regulatory compliance and issue resolution, process improvement and redesign.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organize and direct all aspects of delivery for a set of complex change initiatives
  • Conduct requirement gathering and business analysis activities across multiple asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives and FX
  • Develop, implement and oversee governance routines for project execution, management reporting and business readiness
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategy/policies and business line objectives
  • Ensure that change management (communication & training) and user experience (adoption) is a focus of every project undertaken
  • Pro-actively identify potential risks when implementing change, along with developing a mitigation strategy and plan
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple functional areas (business, technology, risk, etc.)
  • Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of projects, services and initiatives
  • Work with impacted areas to understand complex problems
  • Focus on bringing issues and risks to resolution
  • identifying solutions and developing clear options and recommendations that drive decision making
  • Use problem solving skills to develop custom approaches and solutions (process improvement, change management, product management, projects, etc.) that are tailored to the problem

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
  • 5+ years Capital Markets experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of institutional broker/dealer trading practices across a vast array of products including foreign exchange, fixed income, equities, and derivatives
  • Experience working across a broad set of capital markets businesses, market dynamics, and issues impacting a complex set of business activities and personnel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to think strategically, be a self-starter, challenge the status quo, implement, and effectively deliver business objectives
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of change management, process improvement, product development and project delivery methodologies including SDLC and Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex IT environments: cross-functional areas, large number of interfaces and data sources
  • Strong data management, financial management, quality management and organization skills

Nice to have:
