Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking product owner for its capital advisory product group within CIB Front Office change team, focused on building products for various business lines within CIB. The role includes responsibility for execution and delivery of product roadmap, tracking and reporting delivery schedules, timelines, and derailers. Requires collaboration with technology and business stakeholders, participation in global team discussions, and contribution to process enhancements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be responsible for execution & delivery of capital advisory products within Investment Banking, maintenance & reporting of key SLA’s
  • Direct engagement with senior leaders across global COO teams and partner with them to drive solutions designed to improve processes, controls, and regulatory/risk compliance across various risk, automation, surveillance & quality assurance functions
  • Understand business requirements, goals and objectives, design and create target state solutions
  • Defines project scope, plans, objectives, and governance framework
  • Identify cross project interdependencies, track and report key project metrics to senior leadership
  • Work with higher management to streamline the delivery process through implementing project management methodologies
  • Applying deep subject matter expertise in implementing change, and managing risks to recognize change benefits
  • Assist to develop product strategy and roadmap based on business priorities
  • Identify critical paths & manage dependencies
  • Create governance artifacts, lead cabinet ceremonies with Risk, Compliance, Control and communicate project status, timelines, dependencies & impediments with Leadership
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement migration strategies
  • Draft & maintain project charter, performance and delivery metrics, and onward reporting
  • Execute end-to-end delivery of projects, scrums, and tactical decisions

Requirements:

  • MBA/equivalent advanced degree, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience with solution design and delivery, requirements elicitation experience, product management experience
  • Banking and Finance Domain Exposure
  • Min 5 years’ experience with Investment Banking line of business e.g. Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets
  • Familiarity with workflow tools like ServiceNow and JIRA
  • Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI to extract reports
  • Knowledge of system testing methodologies, test script management and execution, UAT testing experience for enterprise scale systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, portray great levels of accountability and attention to detail
  • Candidates should be able to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently, while maintaining quality, accuracy and integrity
  • Candidates should have experience presenting information to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding at all levels with the ability to develop and negotiate solutions with partners or clients including escalations as needed
  • Candidates should be able to work in a global team, interact at different levels and handle a wide range of deliverables with varying levels of complexities with focus on execution and result
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills to create persuasive PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong analytical skills leveraging Microsoft Excel/Access
  • Experience in identifying and driving process improvements in complex environments
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully work on several unrelated projects at the same time
