Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to own and modernize Adverse Action and Stipulations execution within Auto Originations. This role sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance, operational execution, and strategic change—ensuring fair lending outcomes while enabling the business to operate at scale. You will have end‑to‑end accountability for a critical consumer‑facing process and partner closely with risk, legal, operations, and senior leaders to drive sustainable improvements.
Job Responsibility:
Own Adverse Action and Stipulations execution end‑to‑end, from issue identification through solution delivery and sustained performance
Lead cross‑functional initiatives to design and implement compliant, scalable process improvements across Auto Originations
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives by managing risk, resolving issues, and delivering measurable outcomes
Assess complex execution challenges using data, fact‑finding, and sound judgment to develop practical, regulator‑ready solutions
Make decisions in highly complex situations, balancing regulatory requirements, operational realities, and business objectives
Partner closely with Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology to align strategy, execution, and governance
Serve as a subject‑matter leader, influencing and mentoring less experienced Business Execution staff within the team
Requirements:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of Consumer or Auto Lending experience
Nice to have:
Experience with Auto Lending systems (ex. CreditRevue (CRS))
Strong understanding of Adverse Action requirements under ECOA
Holistic Auto Lending experience (e.g., underwriting, funding, relationship management)
Knowledge of indirect auto finance operations, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Working knowledge of Auto Lending regulations (ECOA/Reg B, FCRA, Fair Lending)
Experience managing and utilizing SharePoint
Experience with Risk and Control Self‑Assessments (RCSA) and/or process management and control development
Background in change management, implementation, and audit/exam support
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data effectively
Clear, concise and confident written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to partner and influence across organizations
