The Lead Business Consultant partners with our Change Center of Excellence, Portfolio Leaders, Value Stream Leaders, Solution Train and Agile Release Train Leadership to embed organizational change management (OCM) into SAFe ceremonies, ensuring change initiatives, epics, and features translate into actionable adoption plans at the story level. Acting like Product Management for Change, the role drives alignment between both strategic transformation goals as well as delivery execution goals for sustained PPL business outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Trusted change advisor to CCoE, Portfolio Leadership, Value Stream Leadership and Solution Train/Agile Release Train Leadership.
Coordinate, remain aligned with the enterprise Change Center of Excellence (CCoE).
Work with CCoE & Change & Digital Enablement to roadmap and forecast needs.
Facilitate executive sponsorship and stakeholder alignment across the value stream.
Integrate change management into Portfolio, Value Stream, and ART ceremonies.
Ensure change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis for initiatives and epics.
Ensure OCM initiatives and epics are refined into features and story level change action plans.
Partner with Product Management and RTEs to align change actions with delivery cadence.
Build and manage an OCM backlog aligned with product and application delivery backlogs.
Ensure communications, training, and adoption enablers are included in backlogs and PI plans.
Guide ARTs, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters on integrating OCM into team level work.
Provide readiness and adoption metrics for governance and Inspect & Adapt.
Surface change risks, dependencies, and resistance patterns to leadership
leverage RAID.
