Job Description:

HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join as a Lead Business Analyst. The role involves working closely with product owners, stakeholders, and IT teams to prioritize work, clarify requirements, plan projects, and ensure timely delivery. Key focuses include Agile practices, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Job Responsibility:

Participate and contribute to workshops for clarifying requirements and scope definition
carry out walkthroughs to secure sign-offs
document the current state of systems or processes
perform analysis to define or refine business requirements
work with system subject matter experts (SMEs)
participate in test phases ensuring alignment with business requirements
create system documentation
support Project Manager in completing Non-Functional Requirements
maintain understanding of the business strategy
write detailed Jira stories.

Requirements:

At least 8-10 years’ experience in the investment banking domain
excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
ability to prioritize and clarify requirements
project planning and tracking
performing gap analysis
coordinating with different teams and stakeholders
assisting in testing and involvement in production issues
good understanding of Agile practices
experience with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
understanding of Agile, Scrum, and tools like Jira, Confluence
strong time-management skills
great interpersonal and communication skills
ability to multitask
team collaboration skills
ability to say no or push back when needed
understanding of system integrations.

experience working with Development teams and other BAs
experience in managing applications for systems and delivery
strong organizational skills
attention to detail.
