Beacon Technologies is seeking a Billing & Collections Manager to manage residential policies manually for our client partner. Role can be fully remote but must be in the US 48 state area. Hours 8:30 AM to 4 PM CT with some flexibility. Role is to support a transition from a system-based billing solution to a manual solution with a defined end date.
Job Responsibility:
Manage invoicing, receival of funds and application to accounts
Investigating and resolving billing issues
Overseeing creation and movement of documents
Efficiently handling inquiries to limit liability and streamlining billing and collections procedures
Monitor delinquent accounts by investigating and resolving billing issues and/or other complications that may prevent timely account payments
Lead the implementation of financial activities by analyzing business operations and trends, developing additional analyses and providing action plans for process improvement
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
High degree of financial acumen and awareness of financial responsibility
Effectively present thoughts to influence and persuade organizational leaders and key stakeholders to adopt innovative recommendations
Use multiple resources to gather and analyze information and use logic to address complex work-related issues and problems
Collaborate with internal and external customers
understand the needs and goals of a customer and actively look for ways to meet them
Monitor short- and long-term impact of contributions and ensure accuracy and adherence to long-term goal
Prioritize interests of the company during decision-making
Influence and collaborate with people at different levels within the organization to accomplish a common goal
