Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Accountability Specialist to join our Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) Team. This role involves leading complex risk mitigation initiatives, designing controls and protocols, and collaborating with business partners to implement risk-mitigating strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex initiatives with broad impact designed to mitigate current and emerging business risk issues
act as key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning
assess, analyze, and design complex and multi-faceted controls, protocols, and approaches for risk mitigation
make decisions in complex situations requiring understanding of business operations and regulatory environment
strategically collaborate and consult with peers and managers to identify risks
act as liaison for the business with external parties
may lead projects, teams, or serve as peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience
equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
1+ years of issue management execution experience (desired)
Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) experience (desired)
strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions
