Job Responsibility

  • Revolutionize our practices: Conduct an in-depth review of Shopify's global leave and accommodation policies
  • Own the process: Define and document process standards for leave intake, case management, and return-to-work protocols
  • Be the expert: Act as the subject matter expert on leave and accommodation legislation in key regions globally
  • Manage complex cases: Take ownership of complex and escalated leave cases
  • Collaborate and influence: Build strong partnerships with Legal, HRBPs, and Talent leadership
  • Drive innovation: Identify process improvements and leverage AI tools to enhance case management and policy research

Requirements

  • Deep experience in leave and accommodation management, with deep expertise in NORAM
  • Proven track record of owning or building a leave/accommodation practice
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of making complex topics accessible
  • Comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities shift frequently
