Job Description:

Lead Bartender position at The Riviera Maya EDITION at Kanai, responsible for beverage service, stock management, and team coordination in a luxury hotel environment

Job Responsibility:

Answer guest questions about wines
Check quality and quantity of stock and supplies
Perform bottle-for-bottle liquor restock
Communicate last call at closing time
Prepare drink orders for guests
Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles
Count bank and complete cashier reports
Secure liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
Ensure staff works together as a team
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Knowledge of various wines including origin, vintage, and style
Ability to prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems
Ability to count bank, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
