Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior/Lead Automation Test Engineer to drive automated test capabilities for their most complex applications. This fast-paced role bridges hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You will manage quality standards for key workstreams, collaborate across teams, and actively coach and mentor other engineers to build testing practices

Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience in software testing and 4 years of this in a Senior or Lead Test Engineer role
  • Skilled in UI and API automation, solid experience in Java, Selenium, API testing, GIT, Github Actions and DevOps practices
  • Be comfortable doing hands on test automation in an existing Java/Selenium based framework (designing, coding, running, debugging, reporting, code reviewing, etc)
  • Build and develop automated test capabilities for highly complex applications
  • Proven experience coaching engineers and conducting thorough code reviews
  • Partner with leads to drive continuous test automation best practices
  • Work cross-functionally across various streams of work in a fast-paced, exciting environment
  • Bachelor Degree
  • legally entitled to work in New Zealand at the time of application
