The Lead Automation Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of world's most advanced gloveless aseptic filling systems through technical excellence. You'll support the development and continuous improvement of industry-leading aseptic filling workcells.
Job Responsibility
Design and implement advanced control strategies for complex automation equipment from early development through system integration and testing
Develop and optimize PLC and HMI programs using modular programming standards and industry best practices
Specify and integrate advanced sensors and actuators (vision systems, servo and stepper motors, multi-axis motions, etc.)
Conduct system-level structured troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and software domains
analyze root cause and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with product management and cross functional teams to translate stakeholder needs into detailed engineering requirements, design documentation, and verification/validation strategies
Requirements
Bachelor's or equivalent
Proficient in PLC and HMI programming, with experience applying object‑oriented or modular software design principles
Hands‑on experience with robotics and actuator control (e.g., stepper and servo motors), with a practical understanding of feedback control, system dynamics, and tuning methods (e.g. state space analysis
frequency response, and PID methods)
Solid foundation in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems design
Demonstrates systems thinking, structured problem solving and is able to decompose complex problems
Comfortable working in fast-paced, early-stage R&D environments with high ambiguity
