Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our API security and management initiatives. You will lead a team of talented engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of GenAI-powered solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the security and efficiency of our API ecosystem.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the development and implementation of GenAI-powered API security solutions and user experience
Enable automated API threat assessments and evidence validation
Ensure tooling is in place to address API vulnerabilities and manage risk factors throughout the API lifecycle
Collaborate with application owners, cybersecurity experts, and data scientists to design and architect data pipelines for API threat assessment
Oversee the integration of AI-powered validation workflow
Drive experimentation and batch mode processing using static data
Evaluate and enhance prompt management systems for live integration
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Proven experience in software engineering, with a focus on API security and management
Strong knowledge of cloud-native systems and API protection guidelines
Proficiency in GenAI technologies and tools (e.g., LangChain, Google ADK, Orchestra)
Experience with data pipeline design and architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and communication skills

Nice to have:

Familiarity with AI-powered agent solutions
Experience with risk and review processes
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection measures
Ability to drive innovation and experimentation in API security solutions
