Job Description

Lead Anaplan Architect with a leading FMCG client (consulting through FinXL). FinXL Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL is seeking a Lead Anaplan Architect to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading FMCG client on a 4-6 weeks contract in Sydney CBD.

Job Responsibility

  • Spearhead a comprehensive health check and technical review of the current Anaplan landscape
  • Evaluate ICT, NCT, and data hub models alongside related integrations and operational processes
  • Assess current model architecture against Anaplan best practices to identify performance bottlenecks
  • Pinpoint optimization opportunities, governance gaps, and areas of technical debt
  • Lead client-facing discovery sessions and conduct structured interviews with key users and business stakeholders
  • Deliver targeted training, documentation uplift, and technical knowledge transfer to internal teams
  • Formulate and present a practical, prioritized remediation roadmap to executive leadership

Requirements

  • Certified Anaplan Solutions Architect or Master Anaplanner background
  • Proven track record designing, auditing, and optimizing complex, multi-model ecosystems
  • Strong background in client-facing consulting roles, specifically leading discovery phases and health checks
  • Deep expertise managing senior stakeholder expectations and translating technical findings into business insights
  • Demonstrated ability to dissect legacy models and uncover hidden technical debt
  • Strong capability in delivering documentation uplift, mentoring, and training internal teams
