Job Description

We are looking for a highly independent Lead Analytics Engineer to own and evolve our enterprise BI data layer, built on Snowflake and DBT. This role goes beyond implementation - you will be responsible for data modeling decisions, pipeline design, validation, and system reliability across a complex and evolving data ecosystem. You will work closely with analytics, supply chain, and engineering teams but are expected to drive technical solutions end-to-end, including in ambiguous situations.

Job Responsibility

  • Data Modeling & Architecture Ownership: Design and maintain scalable data models using Snowflake and DBT.
  • Data Quality & Validation: Own data correctness end-to-end.
  • Pipeline Stability & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues.
  • Problem Solving in Ambiguity: Work through incomplete requirements and unclear ownership.
  • Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with analytics and data teams.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering.
  • Advanced SQL expertise
  • Strong experience with DBT (models, lineage, transformations)
  • Hands-on Snowflake experience
  • Proven ability to own pipelines end-to-end and solve complex data issues independently.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Data Vault concepts
