Job Description

Lead Analyst will be reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, the Lead Analyst will be responsible for reviewing the work of analysts, including adherence to best practices and reporting robustness, while making actionable investment proposals and sharing understanding on market dynamics. Our Lead Analyst will have a profound understanding of the status of the pipeline on their geographies and extrapolates learnings between different markets.

Job Responsibility

  • Review valuations provided by Analysts
  • Prioritize the tasks of the Analysts
  • Continuous learning / training on market structure and of the financial analysis
  • Understand the status of the pipeline on their geographies
  • Provide recommendations on best strategy forward (e.g. commercialization, offtake) for the assets in the pipeline
  • Main point of contact with other functions (e.g. Development, PF, Tax)
  • Interaction with external service providers (e.g. technical advisors) or relevant stakeholders (e.g. lenders)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar
  • 5+ years in Financial Modelling or Renewable Energy Industry
  • Discounted Cash Flow Modelling
  • Experience checking other people´s work
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal

Nice to have

  • Experience in Debt or PPA structuring is a plus
  • Experience in Financial Due Diligence is a plus
  • CFA / MBA strong plus
  • Another language (Spanish, German, Italian, French) is a plus
