Job Description

Airbnb is seeking a Lead, Advanced Analytics, Product. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic business and product initiatives through detailed data analysis, experimentation, statistical modeling, and the development of reporting tools and metrics. The individual will be instrumental in driving product decisions across topic areas such as pricing and calendar availability, and competitive intelligence. The role would partner directly with the head of Product for Marketplace.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Advanced product analysts
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to measure feature impact
  • Design and build metrics/dimensions to monitor product and business performance
  • Build sophisticated reporting and analytical tools
  • Work cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science teams
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships

Requirements

  • A quantitative undergraduate degree
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of industry experience in a Data Science, Analytics, or equivalent role
  • 4+ years of management experience with a proven track record of team development
  • Prior experience in data science, product analytics within a marketplace and pricing/monetization products
  • Deep technical expertise in data analysis, experimentation, causal inference, and familiarity with LLMs
  • Robust business acumen and strategic thinking skills
