Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
Collaborate closely with business teams, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions
Define new metrics and identify leading indicators of key business outcomes
Build dashboards to track key performance metrics across markets and customer segments to establish benchmarks
Conduct A/B tests to improve business performance and maximize incrementality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science, to align strategies and leverage synergies
Requirements
8+ years of industry experience with a degree (Masters or PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research)
Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting
Deep understanding of econometric and statistical analysis, and experience in applying these skills to derive insights from broad data sets
Strong expertise in at least one programming language (Python or R) and SQL
Experience with AI-assisted analytics (Claude, ChatGPT, etc)
Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions
