Job Responsibility

  • Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate closely with business teams, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions

Requirements

  • 8+ years of industry experience with a degree (Masters or PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research)
  • Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting
  • Deep understanding of econometric and statistical analysis, and experience in applying these skills to derive insights from broad data sets
  • Strong expertise in at least one programming language (Python or R) and SQL
  • Experience with AI-assisted analytics (Claude, ChatGPT, etc)
  • Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions
  • An agile, growth-minded approach, demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact
