EXCITING JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR LCSWs OFFERING FLEXIBILITY, INDEPENDENCE, AND GREAT COMPENSATION! Community Mental Health Center is seeking qualified and self-motivated LCSWs to perform psychotherapy services in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in CT. This facility specializes in adult and geriatric psychiatry, and provides the highest quality psychiatric care to skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in CT. We have a great team of dedicated Psychiatrists, APRNs, LCSWs and Psychologists, and are looking to grow our team.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations as well as individual and/or group therapy for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams at each facility, providing feedback to staff and assisting with behavioral management techniques as needed
  • Develop and maintain professional relationship with staff, with ability to educate the staff on appropriate referrals in order to maintain and build caseloads
  • Collaborate with other members of the CMHS interdisciplinary team assigned in each of your buildings
  • Participate in case reviews and utilization reviews as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation for patients on caseload

Requirements

  • LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Master’s degree in Social Work – Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of CT
  • Working knowledge of the DSM V
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills including a high degree of professionalism
  • Experience working with adult/geriatric psychiatry preferred
