For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced LCM Mechanical Designer to contribute to the lifecycle management and continuous reliability of complex, high-tech medical systems. In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary R&D environment focused on advanced interventional imaging systems. Job Responsibility:
Maintain and improve mechanical components and subsystems throughout the product lifecycle
Define, maintain, and update mechanical requirements, specifications, verification, and documentation
Ensure design quality, reliability, and patient safety in compliance with international standards and regulations
Develop and execute test strategies and test plans for verification and validation activities
Perform mechanical design, modelling, and analysis to support system performance and robustness
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (electronics, mechatronics, quality, compliance, testing, procurement)
Support factory activities and work effectively with suppliers, partners, and agile (scrum) project teams
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience in a professional engineering environment
Strong background in mechanical design, analysis, testing, and lifecycle management (LCM)
Experience working in regulated industries (medical devices preferred)
A proactive, hands-on team player with strong communication skills in English
