Layout Environment TD

• Determine the position of the CG camera and 'block' CG characters for shots of a VFX sequence
• Create the CG environment from assets provided by Models
• Consider a shot's framing, composition, camera angle, camera path and movement, and the lighting requirements of each scene

• Generalist Maya skills with camera, modelling, animation and rendering
• Production experience with procedural environment building
• Comprehension of photographic composition and understanding of camera lenses
• Ability to match photographic reference of an environment (natural or architectural) with a minimum of assets
• Strong technical, communication and organizational skills
• A solid understanding of matchmove concepts
• At least 3 years layout experience in Visual Effects on feature films

Knowledge of Nuke, Katana, and scripting abilities in Python
