Layout Environment Td

• Produce layouts for shots and sequences, resolving previs, mocap, matchmove and plate photography into a consistent world space
• Building and maintaining shot and sequence continuity
• Creating and publishing cameras for Animation and Lighting
• Blocking scenes using existing assets and low poly geometry
• Supporting shot setup with the right assets, dressing and scene structure
• Collaborating closely with Production, Animation, FX and Lighting teams

• Production experience with procedural environment building
• Generalist Maya skills with camera, modelling, animation and rendering
• Comprehension of photographic composition and an understanding of camera lenses
• Ability to match photographic reference of an environment, natural or architectural, with a minimum of assets
• Strong technical, communication and organisational skills
• A solid understanding of matchmove concepts
• At least 3 years Layout experience in Visual Effects on feature films

Knowledge of Nuke, Katana, and scripting abilities in Python is a plus
