The postholder will support a highly regarded casework team in advancing public law challenges that protect rights and hold government to account. The role offers the chance to work on significant cases while collaborating with colleagues in research, policy, and training. Supervision will be provided by the Legal Director, within a supportive and inclusive team environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a strategic public law caseload, including judicial review
  • Provide legal advice and representation to individuals and organisations
  • Undertake litigation and legal research, ensuring compliance with professional requirements
  • Contribute to policy, training, and cross-departmental initiatives
  • Supervise junior caseworkers where appropriate

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive (England & Wales)
