Lawn Operative

• Maintaining contact with the customer before a treatment is carried out
• Visit designated customers daily to apply fertiliser and herbicide
• Inform the customer before work commences
• Notify customer at conclusion of work and supply invoice
• Inform customer of next treatment date
• Identify lawn issues and offer necessary advice
• Carry out essential Spring/Autumn machine work such as Aerators, Scarifiers and lawn top-dressers
• Use regular garden tools such as rakes, leaf sweepers and brooms to clear scarification waste
• Work in a team or alone on machine work
• Maintain standards of all health and safety practices
• Maintain high level of cleanliness of company vehicle
• Ensure professional and smart appearance at all times
• Carry out necessary simple service calls
• Carry out lawn analysis and quotations
• Support business growth by speaking to potential customers
• Maintain and update stock reports

• Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Passion for lawn care
• Ability to deliver top quality customer service
• Excellent organisation and timekeeping skills
• Right to work in the UK
