Job Description:

Due to growth and expansion, we have exciting opportunities for Lawn Care Operatives with GreenThumb Ltd, UK’s leading provider of lawn care. For over 36+ years we have been developing products such as the no scorch technology, lawn make overs and have now launched a brand new lawn treatment cycle service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining contact with the customer before a treatment is carried out
  • Visit designated customers daily to apply fertiliser and herbicide
  • Inform the customer before work commences
  • Notify the customer that treatment has been completed and supply invoice
  • Inform customer of next treatment date
  • Identify lawn issues and offer advice on lawn and mowing practice
  • Carry out essential Spring/Autumn machine work such as Aerators, Scarifiers and lawn top-dressers
  • Use regular garden tools such as rakes, leaf sweepers and brooms to clear scarification waste
  • Maintain standards of all health and safety practices
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness of the company vehicle
  • Ensure a professional and smart appearance at all times
  • Carry out any necessary simple service calls
  • Carry out lawn analysis and quotations as required
  • Support business growth by speaking to potential customers
  • Maintain and update stock reports when required

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Passion for lawn care
  • Ability to deliver top quality customer service
  • Excellent organisation and timekeeping skills
  • Right to work in the UK
