We’re seeking a Law Student Recruitment Manager to support a leading law firm company. This role is based in Chicago with a hybrid schedule, combining office presence with remote flexibility. The position offers long-term stability and an opportunity to oversee comprehensive law student and entry-level recruiting initiatives within a prestigious firm environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead law student + entry-level recruiting for the Chicago office
  • Administer on-campus and in-office interview programs and manage the full interview process for law students
  • Lead orientation, onboarding, and integration for summer associates and entry-level associates
  • Design and implement the summer associate program (orientation, training, assignments, events, evaluations)
  • Manage the summer associate mentoring program and maintain mentoring structure/support
  • Maintain summer associate files, evaluations, and feedback processes
  • advise summers on firm policies/procedures
  • Build relationships with law school career services and plan law school recruiting events/programs
  • Partner with Professional Development on associate mentoring programs and integration initiatives
  • Collaborate with partners/admin teams to onboard lateral non-partner attorneys and manage related departure processes
  • Support firm-wide recruiting operations: national hiring initiatives, recruiting materials, competitive research/data tracking, reporting/surveys/ATS maintenance, budget ownership, and staff supervision

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • At least 5 years of law firm recruiting experience with skills listed above
  • Supervisory experience is essential
  • Ability to work on-site 3–4 days per week, with flexibility to increase to 5 days as needed
  • Proven expertise in managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
