Job Description

Work for a non-profit law firm, with 140+ employees in eight offices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance. Our work is supported by grant funding and allows us to handle about 9,000 civil legal cases in a year for low income and marginalized people and families. This position support the work of LSNF's pro bono program by educating law students on pro bono opportunities and related hands-on experiences to serve clients. The position would be either remote or hybrid-work with the focus being on networking with FSU Law School students, facility, and campus organizations. The position also contributes to development of new avenues for student involvement and creative messaging to students to communicate the benefits of pro bono experiences for law students. Rising 1L or 2L students are preferred, ideally with a candidate who could make a year-long commitment to the part-time role. Work hours can be flexible with school calendar and class schedule.

  • Review intake assessments to ensure that all students receive the educational services and instructional methods that they need to succeed aligned with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Coordinate and provide pull-out, push-in, small group, and one-on-one instruction

  • Manage all aspects associated with the evaluation process, including conducting classroom observations and testing
