Job Description:

Law Firm Administrator / Office Manager position for a well-established, boutique litigation firm based in Seattle, WA. This multi-faceted role requires a professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a keen eye for details. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the legal industry, particularly litigation, and demonstrate the ability to maintain a smooth-running office while meeting the demands of a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws
  • Manage office operations, including vendor relationships, procurement, facilities, and IT needs
  • Supervise billing processes, including invoice review, and client communications
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
  • Lead training and professional development initiatives to enhance staff skills and productivity
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment while ensuring compliance with firm policies

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven office management experience in a litigation law firm or similar professional environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with legal billing software and office technology
