Job Description:

We are looking for a diligent and meticulous Law Clerk to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal research, drafting, and litigation support. The role requires consistent office presence and is suited for individuals passionate about litigation and legal processes.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct detailed legal research to support case preparation and litigation activities
Draft and review various legal documents, including contracts, complaints, and correspondence
Assist in filing complaints and managing claim administration processes efficiently
Utilize case management software to organize and track case-related information
Collaborate on civil litigation matters, providing support during court proceedings
Ensure accurate documentation and filing of case materials in compliance with legal standards
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding legal matters
Prepare and organize materials necessary for hearings and trials
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all legal tasks.

Requirements:

Candidates who recently sat for the bar exam or are in law school with flexible schedules are highly encouraged to apply
Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools
Ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
Familiarity with complaint handling and claim administration
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
