Works under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Manager performing moderately complex legal research; preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.; reviewing documents for relevance and privilege; and assisting attorneys with all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities may include acting as primary interface with trial attorneys, experts, and other client staff
Provide litigation support by interacting with clients and attorneys
Perform legal research using tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
Reviewing and analyzing documents obtained during the course of the investigation and explaining/summarizing them to lawyers
Identifying and preparing documents for production to third parties
Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT (Moderate Risk Public Trust) facility credentials/authorization
US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location
Requires Law degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least two (2) years of study or, an equivalent level of seven (7) years legal training or experience
or an equivalent level of education may be substituted
At least two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects or task order related projects including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys
Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging
Role also requires hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources
Experienced with document review in Relativity
Nice to have:
Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese language (reading, writing, speaking)
