Reputable California firm is seeking a litigation attorney to join their Northern California team. As a Trial Attorney, you will be handling litigation matters and playing a key role in their real estate group. You will be responsible for drafting legal notices and letters, managing discovery processes, and attending trials or hearings. This role can be mostly remote, but the person will be residing in Northern California.
Job Responsibility:
Handle litigation cases and employment law matters for clients
Draft legal notices and letters
Conduct discovery for various cases
Prepare and file motions, utilizing available templates
Attend trials and hearings, both virtually and in-person
Maintain regular contact with prospective and current clients, possibly answering inquiries about our services
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active California Bar license.
Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed attorney in California.
Solid understanding of civil litigation processes.
Proficiency in legal research and excellent writing skills.
Experience in landlord-tenant law and eviction cases.
Familiarity with conducting depositions.
Hands-on experience with Lexis or comparable legal research tools.
