Laundry Wash Attendant

• Operate, wax and clean the Flat Iron Press
• shake all linens including pillowcases, napkins, sheets and tablecloths and feed through Flat Iron Press
• collect/catch pressed linens when folded
• add an additional fold, if required
• place all folded linen in cart
• Operate and clean Towel Press Machine
• feed all towels through and collect/catch once pressed
• add an additional fold, if required
• place all folded towels in cart
• Identify and separate any stained or torn linens, including pillow cases, napkins, sheets and tablecloths
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Uniform Room Attendant
• Assist Housekeeping Management with weekly stock takes of guest supplies, cleaning supplies and chemicals needed for the cleaning of Front and Back of House areas

• Prior housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
• knowledge of HotSOS preferred/is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
• US work authorization is required
