Requirements

Minimum 1+ year previous experience required in related position
in a luxury hotel setting preferred
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
Knowledge and the ability to operate cleaning equipment
Have a high level of attention to detail
Ability to understand and working knowledge of English required
this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States

Job Responsibility

Sorts used linens, clean towels, rugs, and robes into appropriate categories for off-site washing
Sorts out stained or torn linen
Loads and unloads carts
Use towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes
Place the folded product on an appropriate rack
Shake wet sheets, table linens, and napkins prior to ironing
Feeds washed linens into iron
Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate
Operates and maintains folding equipment, washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron
Reports any problems or deficiencies to the manager
