An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Laundry Shift Leader to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking an energetic and passionate leader to join our Commercial Laundry Team at Ayers Rock Resort. This role will see you, lead alongside the laundry attendants through daily operations under the guidance or in absence of upper management, provide and finalise the training of new employees or employees learning new machinery operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Start up and Shutdown procedures e.g., boilers air compressors and laundry machinery
  • Extractor washer and dryer operations with use various chemical powders
  • Lead factory and pressing roles through daily operations through task delegations and priorities
  • Open communications with other resort departments to attend requirements and needs during daily operations

Requirements

  • Lead alongside the laundry attendants through daily operations under the guidance or in absence of upper management
  • Provide and finalise the training of new employees or employees learning new machinery operations
