Laundry Manager

• Overseeing all aspects of laundry processing, from sorting and washing to drying, ironing, folding, and delivering linens and other fabrics
• Supervising, training, and evaluating laundry staff, ensuring productivity, and addressing any issues
• Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper presentation of linens
• Monitoring inventory levels of linens, supplies, and chemicals, coordinating with purchasing departments to ensure adequate stock
• Developing and managing the laundry department budget, controlling costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental and industry standards
• Monitoring and maintaining laundry equipment, scheduling repairs and servicing to minimize downtime
• Collaborating with other departments, such as housekeeping, to meet their laundry needs
• Handling guest inquiries and complaints related to laundry services
• Providing ongoing training to laundry staff on proper laundering techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Preparing reports on laundry productivity, inventory management, and staff performance

• Excellent verbal and written English are required
• Other European languages would be highly desirable
• Strong leadership and great training skills

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and processes
• Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Manage organization and cleanliness of departmental areas by conducting weekly walk through with Hygiene Manager, Housekeeping and Engineering Department
• Conduct MOD shift and experience the hotel from the eyes of the Hotel residents
