Laundry Clerk

• Process resident clothing, linens, and bedding through washing, drying, sorting, and folding activities according to established care standards
• Keep laundry operations moving on schedule so daily volume is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Inspect items during handling to help identify damage, wear, or special care needs before returning them for use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry workspace by following housekeeping and infection-control practices
• Monitor detergent, linen, and related supply levels and notify leadership when replenishment or service support is needed
• Report equipment malfunctions or operational concerns promptly to reduce disruptions in service
• Track laundry-related inventory and support basic item accountability for materials used within the department

• At least 1 year of experience in laundry services, inventory support, or a similar operational role
• Ability to manage repetitive physical tasks such as standing, lifting, sorting, and folding throughout the shift
• Working knowledge of safe laundering practices, workplace cleanliness, and basic handling procedures
• Strong attention to detail when identifying, sorting, and returning resident garments and linens
• Ability to stay organized while managing multiple loads and shifting daily priorities
• Comfortable communicating supply shortages, equipment concerns, and workflow updates to supervisors
• Experience with inventory tracking or asset handling is preferred
