Job Description:

Requirements:

  • Using correct chemicals
  • Delivering of guest clothes to guest suites
  • Attending daily briefings and departmental meetings
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of work area
  • Arranging and organizing the laundry and linen store rooms
  • Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts
  • Set dryers to designate times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load
  • Remove articles from dryer when cycle is complete
  • Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
  • Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine
  • Operate washing and dry cleaning machinery in accordance with company standards
  • To be aware of Health and safety regulations
  • Ensure to collect all the guest suite soil linen and segregating/drop them to the respective location
  • Support to get the green certification for the property and ensure to pack & store the collected used for its collection of outside recycling company
  • During sandstorm/Heavy wind and Rains days ensure that all last minute housekeeping requests are fulfilled and immediate assistance given for the effected in house guest
  • Report all sudden break down laundry equipment’s to engineering department and get it repaired without effecting the operation
  • Deliver processed all guest laundries and keep ready the management personal laundry for their pickup
  • Ensure all associates in the department followed the PPE procedures and maintained the social distancing in the laundry and all associates used the ECOLAB recommended cleaning/ sanitizing products and maintained proper levels of stocks
  • Any other duties as assigned by the housekeeping Supervisor
