Job Description:

The Laundry Attendant is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team who collectively is responsible for the meticulous upkeep of all linens used throughout the resort.

Job Responsibility:

  • Sort linens into appropriate categories for washing
  • Load and unload driers
  • Feed washed linens into ironer
  • Retrieve folded linens and stack or hang clean linens as appropriate
  • Sort clean towels, rugs and robes
  • Use towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes
  • Place folded product on appropriate rack
  • Operate and maintain folding & ironer equipment while following safety procedures
  • Report any problems or deficiencies to manager

Requirements:

  • Legal work authorization in United States
  • Ability to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card from Hawaii State Department of Health
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull as needed during shifts
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Weekend availability
