Job Description:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery. Identify stained or damaged items and determine appropriate treatment. Inspect cleanliness of articles and maintain accurate records. Follow all company safety and security policies while developing positive working relationships with others.

Job Responsibility:

Operate laundry machinery
Inspect and sort laundry items
Clean and maintain equipment
Fold and organize cleaned articles
Maintain safety standards
Work collaboratively with team members
Follow quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
Inspect cleanliness of articles
Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics
Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap
Fold cleaned articles into designated size
Maintain accurate records of items laundered
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
