Job Responsibility:

  • Collect and sort guest laundry items: Gather soiled laundry from guest rooms, sort them by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper care and prevent damage
  • Operate laundry equipment: Safely and efficiently operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean and dry guest laundry items according to manufacturer instructions and hotel standards
  • Maintain laundry inventory: Track the inventory of guest laundry items, including linens, towels, and personal clothing, to ensure proper stock levels and prompt return to guests
  • Perform quality control: Inspect all laundered items for stains, tears, or other damage before returning them to guests to ensure they meet the high standards of a luxury hotel
  • Return items to guests: Deliver clean, neatly folded, and ironed laundry items back to guest rooms in a timely manner, adhering to any special requests or preferences

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Laundry Attendant / Valet within 5* luxury Hotels
  • Solid knowledge of operating different laundry machines and equipment
  • Experience working with different chemicals and detergents
  • Familiarity with laundry symbols
