Job Description:

Domestic/Laundry Assistant at Ty Gwynno Care Home in Pontypridd. Part time - 18 hrs per week. The role involves ensuring resident's homes and communal living spaces are spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, and working in Housekeeping to keep linen clean. The company is a family-run business with 24 Care Homes across the UK, focused on inclusion, caring, and integrity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to resident’s homes and communal living spaces
  • Work in Housekeeping ensuring that the linen is kept clean for residents’ comfort and hygiene
  • Identify potential fire and accident risks, working with other teams to reduce any risks to resident’s safety

Requirements:

  • No previous experience or qualifications required
  • High standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness
  • Ability to work in Housekeeping
  • Ability to identify potential fire and accident risks
