Job Description:

We have an opportunity for an Afternoon/ Evening Engineer to join our award winning Redditch depot. We are looking for engineers to work a 40-hour contract Monday – Friday 14.00pm – 10.30pm (With a 00.00 finish on a Friday).

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparing the fleet for PVR the next morning
  • Service and inspections of the fleet
  • Defect and rectification from driver walk round checks at the end of the busses shift
  • Engine, Adblue, Gearbox, Running gear replacements and repairs
  • Attending and repairing roadside breakdowns where possible
  • Inspections and MOT preparation

Requirements:

  • Experience of the industry HGV or PSV is necessary
  • Must be confident in fault finding and rectification of all types of faults and defects
  • A PSV licence is preferred but not essential
  • A good knowledge of the DVSA rules and legislation is important
  • Must be a team player willing to learn and adapt to the running of a busy workshop
