Job Description:

Senior management level position responsible for driving key consent order and transformation initiatives within the LATAM region. This role will be heavily engaged in technical and business stakeholders for smooth execution of large projects driving simplification and modernization in the region. This role will need to be hands on development role that can go into the details of the different code basis and implement best coding practices throughout the applications landscapes of the region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals
  • Execute on large multiyear initiatives of consent order and simplification
  • Manage stakeholders from business as well as cross LOBs
  • Drive the teams towards best coding practices and execute on agile manifesto
  • Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders
  • Drive the design and development of system architecture
  • Ensure staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures
  • Monitor and manage approach/end results, budgeting, planning, policy formation
  • Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls, documentation, and approvals
  • Manage and maintain all disaster recovery plans
  • Lead and deliver local staff forums
  • Contribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands on experience with Java
  • Mainframe transformation experience
  • 8-10+ years of managerial experience
  • Experience with financial products
  • Working knowledge of the industry and competitors' products and services
  • Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function within relevant part of the business
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
