Randstad is hiring and looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Machine Operators for a contract position at our client's North York facility! If you enjoy sports, and entrepreneurialism and thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, then this is the role for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Machine Operation: Expertly operate Trotect SP 1500 or PS400 laser machines to cut materials following precise design specifications
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD and CorelDRAW software to create and modify design files for laser cutting
  • Setup and Calibration: Prepare the laser machine by setting up parameters, adjusting settings, and calibrating the equipment for different materials and cutting requirements
  • Quality Control: Inspect cut materials for precision, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of materials used, production output, and any machine issues encountered during operations
