Laser cutter operator/programmer

• Work with complex 2D and 3D technical drawings
• Ensure high-precision production
• Independently set up machines
• Adjust CNC parameters (especially Trumpf NC code)
• Manage automated loading sequences
• Optimize cutting plans (nesting)
• Minimize material waste
• Solve minor software or mechanical issues
• Maintain a high quality standard

• An education at mid-level, preferably in shipbuilding
• Are you in possession of a valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate
• Must be able to communicate with the employee in Dutch or English
• Demonstrable work experience as a Ship Metal Worker
• Experience with reading drawings, measuring and marking
• Experience with tack welding, grinding and burning
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings
• Experience with Trumpf or Bystronic systems
• CNC laser cutter operation experience
• Good spoken English skills
• Strong technical background in metal processing / machining environment

2–5 years (medior level) or more than 5 years of experience preferred

• Starting from 600 EUR net per week / 40h
• Monthly vacation allowance of approximately 130 EUR
• Health care contribution of approximately 120 EUR per month
• Total of approximately 2840 EUR net for basic hours per month
• Transportation allowance of 0.19 EUR/km for commuting with own vehicle
