Lantech operators are responsible for performing all tasks involved in packaging product according to plan. This includes: performing basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on everything in the area of responsibility; keep machines stocked with raw materials and work with all personnel regarding raw material quality; perform visual inspections of all finished products being moved and/or loaded onto outbound trucks; identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate corrective action; work closely with all team members, supervisors and leadership to identify, report and correct quality issues, productivity improvements, or cost reduction initiatives; and assist maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED certificate
Basic computer skills
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
Ability to operate all tooling and machinery required to perform required job duties
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality of finished material
Troubleshoot and resolve problems during day-to-day production. Understand escalation process and react accordingly and in a timely fashion
Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Ability to dependably work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Nice to have:
Previous forklift experience
Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Previous experience on a fork truck
