Job Description:

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the resort’s landscaping, lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for guests, owners, and team members. This role supports the overall aesthetic and safety standards of the property while preserving the natural beauty of our island setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and plant beds across the property
  • Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, etc.)
  • Trim and edge sidewalks, walkways, and curbs
  • Remove debris, fallen branches, and litter from grounds
  • Assist with planting seasonal flowers and tropical foliage
  • Monitor irrigation systems and report issues
  • Support storm preparation and post-storm clean-up
  • Apply fertilizers and treatments per company guidelines
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating landscaping equipment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must be a great multitasker and detail oriented
  • Must show initiative in job performance
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns
  • Must be dependable, adaptable, and have a strong work ethic
  • Must have self-motivation, visualization, creativity
