Landscape Gardener

• Review and interpret landscape plans and drawings to determine layouts, materials, and planting specifications
• Prepare and cultivate soil, including fertilising and soil conditioning for optimal plant health
• Plant and care for trees, shrubs, lawns, groundcovers, and other greenery according to landscape plans
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient and effective water delivery
• Build and maintain landscape features such as paths, patios, retaining walls, water features, and garden lighting
• Operate and maintain horticultural tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Perform routine gardening duties including pruning, mulching, weeding, pest/disease management, and seasonal maintenance
• Communicate with clients to understand their landscape needs, provide practical advice, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Adhere to workplace health and safety standards and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines on site

• Relevant qualification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in a comparable landscape and garden maintenance position
• Extensive knowledge of landscape design principles and practical implementation
• Skilled in operating landscaping tools and equipment effectively and safely
• Genuine passion for plants and gardening, paired with a strong sense of design and visual aesthetics
• Exceptional customer service abilities and flexibility to work autonomously or collaboratively
