Job Description:

At Alpine Landscape Service, we are the leading landscape construction and service company in Grand County, CO. Since 2005, our team has been dedicated to providing property owners in the area with outstanding services, no matter how big or small the project is. We are looking to add dedicated individuals to our growing team. Our Landscape Foreman position is open to applicants who live near our office in Winter Park, CO, or in a nearby area like Fraser or Tabernash. Our Landscape Foremen are primarily responsible for assisting in the operations of landscape construction and irrigation projects from start to finish.

Job Responsibility:

  • Communicate to the manager on a daily basis
  • Read all work orders and communicate to the manager when to schedule the work
  • Assist with site visits to execute a plan
  • Assist in ordering materials for jobs
  • Lead a crew of up to 3 people and make sure they have a full understanding of what needs to be completed for the day
  • Operate and maintain equipment, trucks, and trailers and train others how to use them properly and safely
  • Follow through with the crew on completion of all paperwork (safety checklist, timesheets, and completed work orders)

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and up
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
  • 2 years of industry experience or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self motivated ability to work independently
  • Skills and ability to manage a crew of 3
  • Ability to make changes in the field as necessary
  • Knowledge of plant material
  • Knowledge of industry standards for installing plants and hardscapes
  • C.L.T. or equivalent certifications/knowledge
  • Willingness to maintain or earn certifications
  • Must have reliable transportation to our office in Winter Park, CO
